OMG! I remembered when my mom was hospitalized a few years ago. On our opposite room there was this 2 years old girl who happen to swallowed a 1 peso coin. The doc said that the coin was obliquely near the Epiglottis (the portion that separates the esophagus from the trachea). My heart always breaks every time I hear the child’s cry. She’s too young to suffer this kind of pain. I think parents should take extra attention about this matter.

Hi Micgui,
Nice to have you back here. Toddlers are usually prone to this kind of accidents because they can move independently and are curious on everything around them. So, parents need to be extra careful and watchful.
Cheers!
