Becoming A Blogger

Darren’s story about blogging convinced me to start blogging not because of his six-figure income he earns from his blog, but because I know, I have something to share to everyone. Darren and Chris’s blogs convinced me that my niche would bring me new friends, new opportunities, new ideas, new skills, and probably a few bucks to buy cute things for my little one when we go to the mall.
I started blogging since 2006, but never been a serious Blogger. I have a few blogs from free-hosted blog platforms like Blogger.com and wordpress.com, but I have never been serious updating them.
I remember the first time I read a post from Darren’s blog. Coincidentally, he was talking about his six-figure income he received out of blogging. I had a common misconception then that blogging could make you earn six-figure income. I only realized it on a later time that earning a six-figure check does not come overnight.
I am adding a new category, Blogging, intended for beginner mommy bloggers. Posts in this category will be my learning experiences in blogging. I hope they would help new mommy bloggers.
It is my first time to have a self-hosted blog using wordpress. I am still learning how to maintain and develop it. Thank you so much for allowing me to post my EC card on your blog.
How did I begin to blog? It has nothing to do with money. I wanted to find a place to write and keep in touch with all of my friends. I had some big turning points on this journey and have just kept going. I have developed a small community of readers that I keep in touch with daily. Blogging as been a very rewarding experience.

Hi! I really can relate to this post of yours. I am also a fresh blogger, started blogging just this year. I also have many friends who are earning so much money through blogging and me, I’m still confused on how to do that. For now, I am still learning and exploring more things about blogging.
